SENS was founded in 1990 as an independent, neutral and non-profit foundation with the aim of establishing a disposal system for electrical equipment.

The SENS cycle

The SENS cycle ensures the safe, transparent and sustainable disposal of electrical equipment. SENS eRecycling places particular emphasis on ease of use for end consumers, private-sector financing by all market participants, fair compensation for collection points and recycling companies, and the professional and environmentally friendly disposal of electrical equipment.
