Sustainably successful

Promoting the circular economy, reusing recyclable materials, conserving resources, safely disposing of hazardous substances, and significantly reducing the annual environmental impact of waste in Switzerland: at SENS eRecycling, we have many goals in mind. But are they actually being achieved?

Our annual life cycle assessment provides this information and contains some eye-opening facts. For example, the volume of electronic waste collected in Switzerland each year now weighs more than three Titanics combined, the amount of iron recovered would be enough to build 12 new Golden Gate Bridges, and the amount of copper recovered could be used to manufacture a cable that would wrap almost twice around the globe.
